Ladd McConkey OVER/UNDER 63.5 Receiving Yards

Emerging as Justin Herbert’s go-to receiver, rookie Ladd McConkey is averaging an impressive 67 yards per game on 4.8 catches and 6.8 targets. Notably, McConkey has consistently surpassed the 50-yard mark since Week 7, showcasing his growing role in the offense.

In their Week 6 encounter, McConkey hauled in four passes on six targets, totaling 43 yards. Although Denver’s defense is stingy, allowing a mere 9.5 yards per completion (ranking third-best), they still concede over 216 passing yards per game (ranking 16th).

Stokastic’s NFL DFS optimizer is highly optimistic about McConkey’s performance, forecasting 5.6 receptions and roughly 75 receiving yards. This positive outlook strengthens the case for taking the over on his receiving yards prop.

DraftKings Pick6 Selection: Ladd McConkey MORE Than 63.5 Receiving Yards

Kimani Vidal OVER/UNDER 24.5 Rushing Yards

With J.K. Dobbins sidelined, rookie running back Kimani Vidal’s role has expanded. While his recent workload appears light (11 carries in the last two games), last week’s low volume was a consequence of the Chargers being overwhelmed by the Buccaneers, forcing a shift away from the ground game.

Vidal’s main competition for carries is Gus Edwards. In the first game post-Dobbins, Edwards logged 10 rushes for 36 yards against the Chiefs, followed by eight attempts for 23 yards last week. Vidal, meanwhile, had eight carries for 34 yards against the Chiefs two weeks ago but was limited to just three carries for 9 yards last Sunday. Despite these figures, Vidal’s increased role should provide him with ample opportunities to surpass this relatively low rushing yardage total.

Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections anticipate Vidal rushing nine times for 35 yards. Although the Broncos boast a strong run defense, allowing the second-fewest yards per carry (3.9) and ranking in the top five in both rush EPA and success rate allowed, the projections indicate a clear advantage. If, as anticipated, the Chargers can maintain a competitive edge and aim to control the pace in the second half, Vidal has a solid chance to exceed 24.5 rushing yards.
